What a wonderful weekend it was! This past Sunday Little Hands Design hosted another fundraiser, our  ‘Krafts n’ Kits Affordable Sale’ and we were touched by the support we received. Upon walking through the studio doors, you could feel the holiday spirit that lingered in the air.

It still isn’t too late to help benefit a good cause. Our kits are still able to be purchased here goo.gl/wZjv5b ! This also isn’t the one and only way to enjoy the spirit of the holidays at the Little Hands Studios! Don’t forget to check out and sign up for our holiday classes – spots are still available…for now 😉 .

We are grateful for all of those on the Little Hands team who took the time to prepare, organise, set up the event. All the kits looked lovely and were tempting to even the most holiday grinch ;). Many of those who stopped by were impressed by our selection and shopped to their hearts’ content. Which sets were a crowd favourite you ask? A tie between the ‘Starter Set’ and ‘Dolly Kit’ seen below! But don’t let jealousy turn you green – these kits are still available for purchase if you are interested.

A big shout out to our volunteers, all of whom were Little Hands students. Not only did they contribute to the success of the day, but they did so adorned in fabulous clothing that they made themselves here at Little Hands! It was truly a sight to see.

We would also like to give a huge thank you to those who baked and prepared food for our “Alice in Wonderland” themed tea table. The spread of sweet and savoury from chocolate cakes to Ukranian pastries, delicacies from Pakistan to pistachio topped lemon and turmeric cake – there was truly something for everyone. A huge thank you to our volunteers from the Helen Bamber Foundation who manned the table throughout the day and kindly bought in pastries of their own! We love this community spirit: we are running a free weekly dressmaking class for refugees and the group never fails to join in and help – a true #givingback in both ways! Their efforts were appreciated by the likes and stomachs of all our guest and fellow volunteers!

Whether you were able to attend or not, we are very thankful for everyone’s support and wish everyone in our Little Hands community a wonderful holiday season!
